One cannot deny the criticism Harry Maguire has faced over the years. From enjoying the highs of being one of the most expensive defenders in football to being slandered for poor performances, the struggle has been real for the English defender in recent years. Despite being targeted by fans, the 31-year-old, for whom Manchester United paid $95.7 million in 2019 to sign from Leicester City, hasn’t given up and fights to prove the cynics wrong every day.
However, part of his journey to regain his stature is owed to the woman who has been one of the most crucial pillars of his life—his beloved wife, Fern Hawkins. But little is known about Maguire’s significant other, making it a perfect opportunity to dive deeper and know more about her.

Currently, she works as a well-qualified physiotherapist. But beyond her profession and being known as Maguire’s wife, Fern is no less than a social media influencer. She boasts over 108K followers on Instagram, posting her beautiful pics and even sharing lovely moments with her loved ones. However, more recently, Fern saw an interesting career change!
Earlier this summer of 2024, the Sheffielder recently opened her own florist shop by the name of Saint Rose. Apparently, Hawkins plans to run this flower business by making supplies for weddings and other occasional parties of A-listers. In fact, in order to run this venture, she had even hired a private floristry tuition. The bio of her flower shop looks to be the tagline of this venture which says, “Your personal florist. Inspiring events with the art of floristry.”
Speaking about the love birds, Harry Maguire and Fern Hawkins have been dating each other since June 19, 2011, when the defender used to play for Sheffield United. After enduring all the hardships and creating a powerful bond, the two decided to take the next step and got engaged on February 17, 2018.
“On Saturday night, Harry made me the happiest girl in the world & asked me to marry him in the most perfect way,” shared Fern on her Instagram, with the proposal coming during a romantic getaway to Paris. Interestingly, it was finally in 2022 when the two tied the knot.
