Does Declan Rice's strong family support give him an edge on the field compared to other players?

He joined the club as its most expensive purchase to date with a $120 million price tag. Who engineered this blockbuster deal for the Gunners and Rice? Declan Rice’s father and mother both are of Irish descent. His Irish grandparents migrated to England during the 1970s, when an Irish exodus was prevalent. Rice’s parents, Sean and Teresa, were both raised in London, where they would eventually run into each other. It is unclear when Sean Rice and Teresa Rice tied the knot. They welcomed the Arsenal star on 14 January 1999. The Rice couple share three sons, including Declan Rice. We are not aware of the profession of Teresa Rice. Her husband, currently, is the agent of Declan Rice.

Sean Rice has diligently laid a path for his son to chase a fruitful career. Sean, an ardent Chelsea fan, enrolled his son in the Chelsea youth team, where he spent seven years. Thereafter, Rice Jr joined West Ham’s youth system and eventually became their senior player. The Chelsea fan in Rice Sr never objected. Declan Rice has two brothers, Conor and Jordan. Declan is younger than both of them. We are not aware of Conor and Jordan’s professional background. Anyhow, soccer surely runs in the blood of these two as well. Declan Rice has time and again credited his two brothers for helping him hone his soccer skills on the pitch. Besides, both Conor and Jordan have been courtside presences during Declan’s games and were also close to West Ham United higher-ups during their brother’s stint. During England’s semi-final win against the Netherlands, Conor and Jordan were seen buying drinks for English fans in the stadium.
