After signing him, Al Nassr cracked a deal with KAFD. But in a recent match, one of the player’s jerseys had the name of the sponsor’s writer upside down.

Al Nassr’s defensive midfielder, Abdullah Al-Khaibari jersey, had the sponsor’s name written upside down and left to right. The player wore the jersey for the whole ninety minutes, and it totally went unnoticed by the team’s administration. Whether it was intentional with some cryptic message, no one knows yet. But you could imagine a very low chance of such a trick.

King Abdullah Financial District (KAFD) is a real estate firm based in Saudi that has recently partnered with Al Nassr for a platinum sponsorship.
The deal will see the club advertise the firm via its jerseys, digital platforms, and stadiums. With Al Nassr reaching more audience with Ronaldo and other big players, the company seemed to have sealed a fine deal with Asia’s most trending club.
