The former Man City star faced charges of driving in a drunken state following the confiscation of his driver’s license. He was captured walking with difficulty as he approached the ambulance. On this note, the Monza star highlighted that he was never intoxicated, but rather a driving mistake that resulted in the collision of his $109,000 Audi Q8. Balotelli said in Dillinger News, “It was a driving error but I was certainly not drunk. I could have understood crates of them if there had been injuries or other people involved. I destroyed my car and went home with another, that’s how it is.”
Balotelli’s brother, Enock Barwuah, arrived at the scene to bring him home after mere first aid treatment. This contributes to one of the controversial incidents off the field during his tumultuous career. However, the veteran forward is solely concentrated on his performance with Adana Demirspor, having showcased his impressive scoring abilities this season.
