Amidst the contrasting reactions to the result, a Premier League legend, who ‘sat off his whole Sunday’, has questioned how ‘dare’ both sides deliver a goalless draw. While taking a dig at the Red Devils, the Englishman couldn’t fathom that Erik ten Hag and Co. opted to park the bus.

The draw has kept Manchester United in seventh, while Liverpool slipped to second place. Let’s hear why former striker Gabriel Agbonlahor was so hyper over the draw.

Gabriel Agbonlahor expressed his anger over the goalless contest between Manchester United and Liverpool on talkSPORT. He said, “First of all, I feel that I need an apology from both teams. I sat my whole Sunday off for this game.” The former Aston Villa star revealed he missed a lot of his Sunday routine tasks just to watch the game. “This game is a must not miss and how dare they give us a 0-0. Manchester United parking the bus. How the mighty have fallen? Parking the bus against the old rivals,” he added.

When asked if Manchester United could have done more to win the game, he replied ‘100%,’ claiming that they could have better chances. “I expected them to score but come on. It’s not like they had loads of under-21 players. They had experienced players,” said Agbonlahor. Finally, the former England star slammed everyone who celebrated the draw, despite being 10 points behind the Reds. “Look at Twitter and Instagram, you’ve got Manchester United YouTubers celebrating a draw!” he concluded. Be that as it may, it’s evident that the result has left Agbonlahor agitated. However, that wasn’t the only piece of criticism after the game.
