Saturday night saw the first-ever Manchester Derby in the FA Cup final. Many celebs were in attendance at Wembley Stadium in London. Wrexham AFC owner Ryan Reynolds was one of them supporting United. Paul Mullin accompanied the Deadpool star.
The game lived up to the expectations of the crowd. Treble-chasing Manchester City emerged 2-1 victorious in the game. However, Reynolds was on the side of Manchester United, and his post-game message garnered reactions from the City fans.

After the game, the Wrexham co-owner took to Instagram to thank United for their hospitality at Wembley. He wrote, “Thank you, Manchester United, for the FA Cup final hospitality. See you in San Diego 26th July vs Wrexham.” His club will play a preseason friendly with United on the US tour. However, the Cityzens soon appeared in the chat.

One fan wrote, “Manchester is blue.” It was a response from a few other fans, too. “But Manchester is sky blue,” another fan wrote. Some fans said that the Deadpool star chose the wrong team to support. “What a shame you chose the wrong team,” commented one fan, while another fan wrote, “Wrong Team.”
“Manchester United are just below the quality of Wrexham. Manchester is blue and forever will be,” one fan highlighted how poor United was. A City fan thinks, “It’s all about Manchester City. United are a thing of the past.” Here are a few more reactions from the fans:
“Should have sat at the better end of the stadium.”
“Wrong team Ryan. Manchester is blue.”
“You got the wrong side of Manchester, dude.”
City started a game incredibly, as Ilkay Gundogan scored in the 12th second. It became the fastest-ever goal scored in the FA Cup final. United pulled one back from the penalty spot. But the second-half strike from Gundogan was enough to take City one step closer to the European treble and become the second English team to do so.

Super Paul Mullin was in scintillating form last season. He missed the National League Golden Boot despite scoring 38 goals. However, Wrexham striker outscored the likes of Erling Haaland in the FA Cup. Mullin’s nine goals in the competition were enough for him to finish top on the goal scorers list.
The only player who came close to Mullin was City’s Riyad Mahrez. He notched five goals for the Citizens. Wrexham AFC’s Sam Dalby finished on the top of assist leaders with Kevin De Bruyne. Both got four assists and at one point, Dalby was all set to finish on the top. But De Bruyne assisted both the goals of Gundogan in the final.
