Jude Bellingham has been making waves in the world of soccer. Joining the most successful team in Europe, the player has already established himself as a key player for Real Madrid. Meanwhile, his teammates from the National Team are aware of his ability and expect him to be a vital player in the 2024 Euro. However, despite being a ‘lovable‘ person off the pitch, Manchester City’s Kyle Walker spoke about one instance that he didn’t like what the youngster did, with a smile on his face.
Bellingham is the only player from the English squad to play in Spain, and Walker doesn’t want his young English teammate to get carried away. Present on Rio Ferdinand’s podcast Vibe with Five recently, Walker said, “Young men these days that they’ve got a confidence about them early, they’ve got a confidence about them and an arrogance that I wouldn’t want it to become too much”.
He was then reminded of Bellingham speaking Spanish, saying ‘Vamos’ a few months ago. However, Walker immediately responded by saying, “I didn’t like it, I didn’t like it.” Earlier, the fullback and his NT teammates were seen teasing the 20-year-old for saying ‘Vamos’ to the fans. Aaron Ramsdale and Jack Grealish seemed to be joking about the star midfielder, pointing out he was from Birmingham.

But Walker, on the other side, nodded when the host said, “He’s been in Spain for how long? 2…3 months? And he’s now saying ‘Vamos’.” Walker clarified, “He was trying to get some sort of deal out of that there, I don’t know what he was doing,” citing that JB trying hard to engage with the fans didn’t look convincing. On the other hand, the 33-year-old heaped praise on Bellingham as a player too.
Calling him a ‘freak’ Walker states that the midfielder is versatile and can do everything from defending to scoring goals. The veteran fullback also feels he is a lovable character. But he will soon see Bellingham’s other side on the pitch at the club level.

The two England teammates will soon be rivals as Manchester City will take on Real Madrid twice next month in the QFs of the UEFA Champions League. Despite wishing Jude Bellingham well, Walker humorously asserted, “He is a brand and I feel I wish him nothing but success unless he plays against Manchester City”. Nevertheless, the 20-year-old is a serious threat to Pep Guardiola’s team with 20 goals and 9 assists this season already. Erling Haaland once appreciated the midfielder, saying, “Unreal this guy”.
Such have been his performances. Additionally, Bellingham proved a big game player scoring a brace against arch-rivals FC Barcelona to win it for Los Blancos. The midfielder’s most recent goal contribution came against RB Leipzig, which propelled Los Blancos to the next round of the UCL to face Manchester City. While they also have superheroes like Haaland and KDB, the contest is expected to be a nail-biting one.
