Celebrations continued overnight for Manchester City, the day they won their fourth Premier League title in a row. Pep Guardiola and team’s hard work turned fruitful in a tight last-day battle with runner-up Arsenal. But despite such jubilation, the Sky Blues also took some time for the not-so-privileged. With fans forming the most important part of any team, the club chose to include one of them and grant their wish.
It is any fan’s dream to hold the trophy that your club wins, and most of the time, it isn’t possible to get even a glimpse. However, according to reports, the Sky Blues arranged for the trophy to be taken to a young fan’s house who celebrated her birthday recently. Mirabelle-Mae is five years old and suffers from a rare condition called Spina bifida which affects the spine and underwent six surgeries.
Reports also suggest that she will have her seventh surgery this year, which could be the last, according to her mother Natalie. Nevertheless, she turned out to be a fighter and received a memorable birthday gift.

At the same time, the young girl was overjoyed as her wish to see the trophy came true. The parents kept the plan a surprise but were seen celebrating and taking photos alongside the cup. Mirabelle, her parents, and a few other children were wearing Manchester City jerseys apart from the backdrop which had the club-themed decor for the day.

The young fan also received compliments from her favorite player, Erling Haaland, regarding her hairstyle after the Luton game. But the season had a lot more in store for her later.

Manchester City’s heartwarming gestures are not new for the fans. Last year, the club surprised a young fan, Noah, who was picked up by the squad for the treble parade. He could go on a brief tour with the trophy on a tram, where he could touch the trophy and meet the players and coach. The clubs’ players are also known to meet children and bring a smile to their faces.
A few years ago, Kevin De Bruyne fulfilled a fan’s desire similarly. An eleven-year-old child with a brain tumor had his wish of meeting De Bruyne fulfilled in 2016. The Belgian later spent some time with the family answering their question about his journey. Overall, it looks like the club is not just winning titles, but also winning the hearts of the people.
