Shakira has been in the limelight since her breakup with Gerard Pique for a variety of reasons. But this time, it seems a bit different. The paparazzi pictured the Latin American singer and her kids taking part in quite a dangerous sport. A report from the US once suggested how jeopardizing the sport could actually be if something went wrong. This is pretty much the last part of her kid’s summer vacation.

Days prior to this they spent some time with their father. Last month, the Waka-Waka singer and the soccer veteran made peace and agreed on certain points for the well-being and benefit of their children.

Shakira’s love for watersports is a stranger to no one. In the past, she has posted several snippets from her surfing sessions in Miami. In fact, when she was in Costa Rica for her secret getaway, she was open to riding the waves. During that time, she suffered a minor leg injury but that did not stop her. It seems like whatever the risks involved, the Colombian icon is unfazed by them.

This time, she decided to do something different with her kids. The three of them hopped onto a jet ski at Miami Beach. The paparazzi managed to capture snippets of them and it seemed like they were enjoying themselves. However, jet skiing has proven to become a very dangerous sport over the years. A report by Jet Drift claims that 40 – 50 people die on jet skis every year.

Additionally, 600-700 injuries are reported every year due to jet ski-related accidents. The report further suggests that jet skiing injuries can be serious. And one can lose their life while using one too. After just landing in Miami last month, even Lionel Messi was on a jet ski with his wife Antonela Roccuzzo. Without a doubt, it seems like a fun sport but taking necessary precautions is mandatory.

She made her reservations known to her ex-boyfriend and then something unexpected happened. He agreed! He reportedly accepted his mistakes and personally flew to Miami to pick up his kids this time. From the looks of it, everything currently looks peaceful between the ex-celebrity couple.
