Manchester City is coming off a narrow 0-1 victory against Bournemouth. Although fingers are being raised over their tendency to find goals with difficulty, it’s impossible to doubt their unbeaten form. Hence, it won’t come as a surprise if City manages to clinch a victory in this one. Certainly, their confidence levels will remain high against Rob Edwards’ side.

On the other hand, Luton Town is coming off a 4-1 thrashing against recent EFL Cup winners, Liverpool. They are currently in the relegation battle as they sit in 18th place in the Premier League table. Notably, both sides are facing each other in the FA Cup for the first time since January 1969. Additionally, in all nine of their previous encounters with Luton Town, Manchester City has gone undefeated (W5 D4).

The Hatters vs Sky Blues: Injury updates

Pep Guardiola won’t be able to use Josko Gvardiol due to an ankle problem. Jack Grealish is also being considered a doubt as he didn’t play on Saturday. Yet, he might be included as a substitute. Likewise, Julian Alvarez and Kevin De Bruyne are also expected to start, while Phil Foden could be benched for this one.

Jacob Brown may also be unavailable for Manchester City’s visit. Rob Edwards will be without Marvelous Nakamba, Mads Juel Andersen, and Fred Onyedinma.
