However, the soccer star played to the fullest despite his painful injury. 

This year, Suarez scored ten goals for his team in the Brazilian top division, Brasileiro Serie A, along with ten assists. The team is currently placed third in the standings above some reputed teams like Atletico Mineiro and Flamingo. The team had already won 2 regional tournaments but failed to make it to the final of Copa do Brasil. Suarez scored only two goals and provided three assists in the tournament.

According to stats, the forward has 19 goals and 16 assists in 46 appearances for his team this season. However, Suarez’s international future already seems to look gloomy. The Uruguayan coach did not select him for the squad for the 2026 World Cup qualifiers. With age catching up, Suarez has also been undergoing treatment for his injury. Will Suarez play with David Beckham and Inter Miami?

Reports initially rumored Luis Suarez to go to Inter Miami once Lionel Messi signed for it. But the striker denied it, stating that he had signed a contract with Gremio until 2024. However, once they approved his request to abbreviate the contract for December of this year, the expectation resurfaced yet again. Reports expect Suarez to sign for Beckham’s team on a one-year deal, with an option to extend.
