But he later called out BBC for ‘fan-girling’ over Messi. Now, he took another jibe at Messi, reacting to a post from the FIFA World Cup’s official account.

Piers Morgan takes another shot at Lionel Messi

FIFA World Cup’s official social media account posted a fill-in-the-blanks for fans with a picture of Messi: “Describe this player in one word ____”. To this, Piers Morgan reacted: “Lost-to-Saudi-Arabia-Man”.

This is not the first time Piers Morgan has fired shots at the PSG superstar. Morgan has also constantly taken a jibe at him. Recently, he engaged in a social media argument with Tennis legend Andy Murray.

Andy Murray trolled Piers Morgan and Cristiano Ronaldo on his social media after Portugal’s win over Uruguay. Ronaldo went viral for the wrong reasons when he claimed a goal that was given to Bruno Fernandes. Bruno had hit a shot that went in. Ronaldo appeared to have made a touch. However, FIFA announced that Bruno would be awarded the goal due to Ronaldo not getting any touch on it.

After Andy Murray’s jibe, Morgan responded with a Messi picture after he missed a penalty against Poland. However, despite the penalty miss, Messi has been in great form in this World Cup and has scored three goals so far in four games.
