Lionel Messi has recently been in the news for all the wrong reasons. In the last month, he got into an ugly feud with his soccer club. It didn’t end well, as Paris Saint-Germain shockingly suspended him. Since then, sources strongly suggest that the relationship between PSG and the Argentine has come to an end.

The World Cup winner will reportedly look for a move preferably back to FC Barcelona when this season ends. However, the Spanish soccer club has its own FFP troubles to deal with. While Messi is prepared to wait to re-join FC Barcelona, his wife might potentially block his move back to Spain.

From the looks of it, Messi is ever ready to leave Paris Saint-Germain in the near future. As of now, he already has an offer on the table from Al-Hilal. Reportedly, the World Cup winner is eyeing a move back to Camp Nou. However, the La Liga giants need to offload quite a few players to accommodate the soccer veteran back in the squad.

Currently going through major financial difficulties, the Blaugrana won La Liga this season after four years. Their ‘free agent’ transfer policy has seemingly worked out. However, they need to generate revenue and free up their payroll to accommodate Messi. From the looks of it, Joan Laporta will do all he can to bring back the soccer legend to Camp Nou.

However, Messi’s wife, Antonela Roccuzzo, might end up blocking his move to Spain. Roccuzzo just signed with a brand endorsement with a French perfume and cosmetics brand. About a day ago, she thanked the brand on Instagram for trusting her. She quoted, “Thank you @guerlain for trusting me for this new project. Looking forward to telling you more”, in Spanish. With an added responsibility on her shoulders, will she really want to leave France?

As a disciplinary measure, they fined the soccer veteran for two weeks while also suspending him for that duration. Due to the controversial suspension, he faced a loss of about $1.7 million.

Since then, the World Cup winner has been subject to severe criticism from the PSG fans. However, he immediately posted an apology video and rightfully addressed the issue. After viewing the video, PSG eventually allowed the Argentine to start training again after a few days. However, the club’s board had seemingly burned every bridge with the soccer veteran after suspending him.
