However, the Albicelestes’ goalkeeper loosened the tension with a funny post.

Many players have called the conditions at Estadio Hernando Siles ‘inhumane’ since it is built at a height of 11,932 feet above sea level. With high chance of facing severe fatigue, it will be a match he wishes to get over soon.

Lionel Messi requested a substitution in the dying minutes of the game against Ecuador. The Argentinian visited IMAXE medical center to get as Lionel Scaloni later confirmed that he’s “fit”. Emiliano Martinez is a funny one even in these low-oxygen conditions he doesn’t sway away from comedy.

Taking to Instagram, the Golden Glove winner posted pictures from Argentina’s training at the Bolivian stadium. Martinez who can be visually seen out of breath in his posts wrote the caption, “Looking for air the whole training (Laugh emoji).

In the other pictures, he posted from the Argentina squad training we could see high-rising mountains that enhance the feeling of anxiety as well as leave you awestruck with its beauty. The only relief for Argentina will be the full-time whistle and the oxygen masks thereafter.

The high altitude and low oxygen levels left Lionel Messi gasping for air. In his match against Bolivia in 2013, the Argentinian felt uncomfortable during the match and vomited on the pitch. He appeared visually exhausted and received an oxygen mask. In his post-match interview, the Argentinian stated that it was a good result coming out with a draw. This is something his mate Neymar has agreed to as well.

When Brazil played against Bolivia at La Paz, the whole team needed oxygen masks after the match. The Al Hilal player defined the conditions as inhuman. He too in his post-match interview stated that it was lucky to come out with a draw given the rigorous conditions of the stadium.
