“Long-Distance Relationship Difficult” – David Beckham’s Son Romeo Beckham Ditches Opportunity to Play Alongside Lionel Messi for Girlfriend Mia Regan

The news of Lionel Messi arriving at the MLS sent shockwaves globally. Hardly anyone expected him to sign for Inter Miami while he still runs rings around the defense. But the decision not to re-sign for Barcelona turned into favors for David Beckham and his franchise. The former English soccer star owns the club and explained his desire to recruit high-profile players. On the other hand, his son changed his plans, giving him no opportunity to play with Messi. While many players dream to share the same stadium in his presence, David’s son, Romeo Beckham, had other ideas. 

After having his relationship with Mia Regan in tatters, Romeo left for England to build it up again. Long-distance relationships are troublesome for people to manage. Beckham’s son sets his priorities straight by moving to England.

He left for Brentford B in West London, joining them permanently after his loan with the English soccer club. Brentford is a club on the rise and had a campaign to remember. He will now play in the B team of the club, with hopes of climbing through the ladder to the first team. After initial struggles with his girlfriend, he returned to England to build a relationship. Making minor sacrifices can lead to a better future from his point of view, and not being able to play with Messi is the least of his problems.

His relationship with the British model hit crossroads after spending time away from her. According to Marçà, a source mentioned how the relationship turned sour when Beckham played with Inter Miami II. It resulted in a separation. But he returned to England to rekindle the flame, which continues to burn seamlessly. The couple has no issues currently and aims to spend more time together. Mia is also concerned about his boyfriend’s career as much as him and wants him to improve.
