The club made an official statement regarding Ronaldo but has yet to take action against him. Jamie Carragher’s recent statement on Ronaldo was met with a response from Piers Morgan, who has suggested that Gary Neville might be criticized in the interview.

“You might change your mind about the interview when you hear what he says about @GNev2…,” Morgan tweeted.

Gary Neville recently called out the 37-year-old over his refusal to come as a substitute against Tottenham. United manager Erik ten Hag later confirmed that Ronaldo indeed refused to come as a substitute in the team’s 2-0 win over the North London side. The club then made him train with the club’s youth team for three days. Ten Hag also snubbed him from the team list for the Red Devils’ game against Chelsea.

Neville called Ronaldo’s behavior ‘unacceptable’. But it didn’t go down well with CR7, who later snubbed ahead of United’s match against West Ham. However, Neville is not the first soccer pundit to criticize Ronaldo and get snubbed. Jamie Carragher also received a similar cold shoulder from the 5-time Balon d’Or winner.
