United manager Erik ten Hag later confirmed that Ronaldo indeed refused to come as a substitute in the team’s 2-0 win over the North London side. The club then made him train with the club’s youth team for three days. Ten Hag also snubbed him from the team list for the Red Devils’ game against Chelsea.
