The soccer fraternity is currently on cloud nine following the announcement of Inter Miami’s pre-season tour. The Florida-based club posted a special graphic of Lionel Messi and wrote, “Adding a stop to our Preseason International Tour. We will play two matches in Saudi Arabia in the Riyadh Season Cup as part of our first-ever international tour!”
Save the dates, as Inter Miami will first face Al Hilal on Monday, January 29 at 1 PM ET. Then, two days later, the Herons will lock horns against Al Nassr on Thursday, February 1 at 1 PM ET. Both matches will be played at Riyadh’s Kingdom Arena stadium.
Additionally, the matches will be played in a round-robin format, meaning that each team will get a chance to face all the teams, and the winner will be judged by the final standings or maximum number of wins.

Notably, Miami also claimed that these are not the only two fixtures, as they will be arranging some more matches before their new MLS campaign begins. Additionally, the tickets are for sale, and the broadcast details will be revealed soon. While facing Cristiano Ronaldo is a sure thing, Lionel Messi won’t be able to reunite with his former PSG and Barcelona teammate, Neymar on the pitch.

Messi won’t be able to reunite with Neymar
Al Hilal No. 10 is still out of action as he is still nursing his season-ending injury, which he suffered during the World Cup qualifiers. However, Neymar would surely be there to support his side from the stands and also greet Lionel Messi. The Brazilian soccer veteran will most likely not be returning for the remainder of the season. He’s on the verge of missing the Copa America too.
Either way, fans would be buzzing about the last dance between Messi and Ronaldo. Both faced each other last year during a match between Al Nassr and PSG. They have encountered each other 36 times throughout their careers, with Messi securing 16 victories and contributing 21 goals and 12 assists. On the other hand, Ronaldo has won just 10, notching 20 goals and an assist.
