Well, from the looks of it, it seems like we are ready to step into a new era! Both Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi have had decorated careers, with the two arguably the best players to ever grace the sport. However, with both icons in the final years of their careers, it seems like it’s time to pass on the mantle. While it would take long to find a successor, it seems like the two don’t have to look far away. Lionel Messi’s eldest son, Thiago Messi, took his biggest step in following his father’s footsteps, hoisting his very first piece of silverware with Inter Miami’s U12 side. Notably, Messi’s son was seen celebrating with his teammates as his side clinched the U12 league title. It is a significant milestone for young Thiago, who is likely elated after the achievement. Before his time with Inter Miami, Thiago was spotted training with PSG’s U12 squad before his father’s move to the United States.
