Lionel Messi is subject to transfer speculation again after news of him not renewing his PSG contract. Argentine, who is in the last five months of his contract now, will be a free agent in the summer and can enter into a pre-agreement with any other club. After Cristiano Ronaldo, Messi might leave European soccer in the summer of this year with David Beckham’s club, confident of signing him.

It will be another iconic free transfer if Messi moves away from the Parisian club. Transfer experts reported earlier that the former Barcelona legend would renew with PSG, but winning the World Cup has changed everything. Inter Miami is leading the race, as per many reports.

Lionel Messi to MLS club Inter Miami?

Transfer expert Gerardo Romero broke the news that Messi has no intention of renewing with PSG on Monday. After the report, fans are mulling over Argentine’s future after the season ends. It also confused PSG fans, as there were reports of Messi agreeing to a one-year deal with the club.

The FIFA World Cup winner was set to decide on his PSG future after the World Cup. He was on an extended vacation after the successful campaign, and MLS transfer experts believe Inter Miami contacted Messi during this time. The MLS club is confident to pull off the move for the PSG star as they think their proposal is financially better.

However, PSG hasn’t given up on the player and will keep pushing for an extension until the season ends. Meanwhile, PSG and Inter Miami are not the only clubs interested in the Argentine.
