Birthdays are more than just a milestone—they are occasions packed with emotion, memories, and the company of loved ones. For Argentine TV personality Susana Gimenez, this year’s birthday went beyond the typical confines of familial well-wishing. The occasion became much more special as her country’s soccer legend, Lionel Messi, sent her not just a memorable gift but also adorned the experience with a heartwarming message to ‘get together‘ in Miami.

Receiving a birthday wish from someone like Lionel Messi is a dream for many, but Susana was the fortunate one. As yesterday marked the 80th birthday of the Buenos Aires-based model, the World Cup winner decided to send a signed jersey along with a video message to his country’s iconic TV star. He said, “Hello, Su. I wanted to send you a happy birthday, wishing you a beautiful day surrounded by people who love you very much. Sending you a big kiss, enjoy it very much and I’ll be waiting for you here, when you’re in Miami we’ll get together. I send you a kiss, take care of yourself and all the best.”

While Messi sent this message to Susana privately instead of wishing publically, the influencer couldn’t contain her excitement to flaunt this message to her 3.3 million Instagram followers. Aside from posting the video on her story, she wrote, “Thank you my beloved idol. Thank you for the shirt. I love you as much as the rest of the world. As soon as I get to Miami I’m going to see you play.” Certainly, Susana is grateful to have received such a heart-melting birthday gift from the forward.

Notably, the unique gesture from the 36-year-old soccer icon came just hours before Inter Miami’s Riyadh Season Cup fixture against Al Hilal, which they lost in a seven-goal thriller. Speaking of his domestic side, Lionel Messi recently made another touching gesture for one of his Miami teammates.

A heartfelt gesture by Lionel Messi brought a smile to the face of a Ukrainian Army General!

Ukrainian defender Serhiy Kryvtsov helped the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Valerii Zaluzhnyi, to get a signed jersey from Lionel Messi. After attending a match, Mr. Valerii was invited to Inter Miami’s training center by Kryvtsov, who then arranged the meetup.

Interestingly, he was the cover star. Mr. Valerii was hailed for his leadership and Ukraine’s resistance to Russian soldiers. Lionel Messi had already donated his national team jersey to United24. It is the official crowdfunding website in Ukraine to repair war-damaged homes and buildings.
