After they finally ended their stay in Europe, the soccer fans finally thought the rivalry was over. But, the fans of both players have no intention of stopping it. A fan of the Portuguese star with an Al Nassr jersey tried to take the photo. And the reaction of Lionel Messi surprised many.

The video shows Lionel Messi staring down the Al Nassr jersey. However, he did not make any comment at the young fan for holding the Cristiano Ronaldo jersey. The fan wanted to take the photo with the Inter Miami star. But, Messi’s bodyguard escorted him to his car as there was a big crowd there to catch a glimpse of the Argentinian. He had gone to his barber for a haircut before traveling to Paris for the Ballon d’Or ceremony.

Many soccer fans would have thought the rivalry between Messi and Ronaldo was over. They thought that it was now the time for players like Kylian Mbappe and Erling Haaland to step up. Nevertheless, it does not look like the Inter Miami and Al Nassr stars are showing signs of slowing down.

Ronaldo also scored 7 goals in 9 matches in the Euro qualifiers for Portugal to help them qualify for the main tournament. Ronaldo has also helped the Saudi League increase its revenue and viewership after his arrival. Lionel Messi has also made an immediate impact on Inter Miami. He has scored 1 goal and provided 2 assists in only 6 games and also has 3 goals in 3 games for Argentina in the World Cup qualifiers. The viewership and shirt sales of Inter Miami have also reached new heights.
