In a surprising turn of events, one player at Lionel Messi-led Inter Miami has declined the opportunity to play in Europe. The Canadian star has preferred to stay over with the club, rather than take the approach taken by his fellow countryman Alphonso Davies. Unlike Davies, who left MLS to join a European side, the Inter Miami star has decided to continue plying his trade for his MLS outfit.
The David Beckham-owned franchise has managed to convince the defender for a contract extension, which is a big plus for the side. A lot of Inter Miami stars have been on the radar of European sides, following Lionel Messi’s move to the franchise. However, it seems like some of these players would prefer playing with La Pulga instead.
