Lionel Messi was surely in for an eventful night at the Arrowhead Stadium. The Inter Miami skipper put in an absolute showcase in front of the away fans this weekend helping his side pick up a 3-2 win. While fans were in for a treat, the Argentine made things special for one little fan. The second half of the game saw a young fan storm to the pitch in an attempt to get a picture with the Argentine. While La Pulga’s bodyguard tried to stop the kid, Lionel Messi allowed the kid to get close and take a picture. Talk about special!

While this surely showcases La Pulga’s humbleness, it raises questions about his security detail. This isn’t the first time a fan has invaded the pitch this season to get a photograph with the Inter Miami skipper. The same incident happened just seven days ago when a young fan rushed to the field during Miami’s game against Colorado Rapids. While the situation was resolved immediately, it shouldn’t have happened in the first place. It will be important to see how Lionel Messi’s security personnel react to these incidents, with the detail likely to increase assigned personnel after the recent lapse of judgments.
