When he looks back at his career, Luka Modric will definitely smile with satisfaction. The Croatian superstar has reached the final stage of his career. From individual awards to prestigious tournaments, he has won almost everything. At present, during the final stages, he would like to end his last few years, or probably a year, by enjoying his game and his team, Real Madrid’s success. Lately, the news of him joining Inter Miami has been circulating. However, the midfielder recently spoke out to give an idea about his future update.
Luka Modric always shows how passionate he is about soccer when he plays. With a great vision in midfield to score some incredible goals for club and country, he was always involved in crucial stages for his teams. Currently, as the club is not giving him the desired number of opportunities, the Croatian still wants more game time.

Real Madrid has made inroads for a few young and highly talented soccer players. The likes of Aurelien Tchouameni, Eduardo Camavinga, and, most recently, Jude Bellingham have been a main part of the team. This may have already minimized the 38-year-old’s chances of playing in the starting eleven. Therefore, Luka Modric has not ruled out moving away from Real Madrid in the coming window.
In a recent interview, Luka Modric said, “Well, I wouldn’t want to get into it now. There’s still a lot of time till winter and the end of the year. I’ve said many times, at my age, you can’t plan anything in advance. You have to go one day at a time from game to game and we’ll see what the future will bring.”
The Croatian captain has indeed realized that the time is toward the fag end of his career. He rather gave an ambiguous answer to a positive question about his stay with Los Blancos. The interviewer asked him if he was definitely staying as told by coach, Carlo Ancelotti, and Modric said there was still time to decide.
"Ancelotti said you are definitely staying at Real Madrid after the winter. Will it be like that?"
