The team’s official Twitter account just posted a clip with famed comedian Nikki Glaser. She looks excited to be on a project with the team. Glaser delivered her excitement at the very beginning of the clip as she describe how it feels to be on the ground to witness the team play.

She said, “Hello Nikki Glaser here, comedian, St. Louisan here at the beautiful city park in St. Louis, where I’m going to see my first ever soccer match that wasn’t on an episode of Ted Lasso. I’m pumped it’s US women’s soccer team. I mean, they are huge stars. I couldn’t be more excited. This is like a red carpet-event.”

Glaser would later go on to have interviews with a few stars, including Trinity Rodman. In the absence of Mallory Swanson, most responsibilities have fallen on the young shoulders of the NBA legend’s daughter. Fans have high expectations and are hoping for the best for the team.

Alex Morgan on Swanson’s injury

After the first match, a fan asked Alex Morgan about being on the ground when Mallory Swanson got injured. Morgan stated that it was hard to see a star on the ground in pain. Along with saying how bad it may turn out for their World Cup campaign, she said, “we just have to hope that she will be good for it.”
