After remarkable success in Qatar, the focus for Argentina is now Copa America. The biggest soccer tournament in South America kicks off on June 20th, 2024. While Lionel Scaloni has yet to name his squad, a significant off-the-pitch development has emerged. The home kit for La Albiceleste has leaked online. And it seems in design, Adidas has opted for a reminder of its historic triumph in the 2022 World Cup.
As per Footy Headlines, the home kit will launch very soon. It’s like the usual with the Argentina home kits- blue & white is the dominant color palette with 3 blue stripes complemented by 2 white stripes. This is the same color theme used in the Argentine flag and it represents the sky and the clouds. Adidas knows well what resonates best with the Argentine supporters, considering they have been making kits way back from 1974! And the big attraction with this kit is the emblem in the middle.
Perfectly placed between the Golden Adidas and AFA logo lies a throwback to Qatar 2022. The golden emblem encompasses the words “FIFA World Champions 2022.” Moreover, after the Qatar Triumph, the star count above the AFA logo has increased from 2 to 3. It is fair to say that the kit looks stunning and will go out of stock as soon as it hits the shelves!
