This January transfer window could be the endgame of the Kylian Mbappe transfer saga. However, the saga is not going to finish without twists and turns. A big change has happened regarding the chase of Real Madrid for the French man. The PSG star is now not happy with the pre-agreement deal of Los Blancos. Hence, he is now open to a Premier League switch.

In the last summer transfer window, everybody thought that Kylian Mbappe would sign a contract extension after Real Madrid did not come to him. But it has not happened till now. So, the fans assumed that Los Blancos had finally won the race. Yet the Mbappe deal now seems to be going in a different direction. The La Liga giants have made him an offer, of which Kylian is aware. However, he is not impressed with it. So, now according to reports, the Frenchman is open to a deal with a Premier League club.

Liverpool have been constantly linked with the Paris Saint Germain forward.  Newcastle United and Manchester City are also other clubs that can sign him because they have owners with deep pockets. The French giants will also take positives from the news. Paris Saint Germain could now make an effort to extend his contract should the interest of Real Madrid fade.

It will be interesting whether he is enticed by any offers from the Premier League. However, the Frenchman has already set a deadline for himself to decide how his future will shape up next season.

Mbappe, following PSG’s French Super Cup triumph, was asked about his future. The Frenchmen said that the chairman of the club Nasser Al-Khelaifi is already aware of the decision. However, recent reports indicate that the decision is not a final one. The 25-year-old has set a deadline for himself to decide whether he wants to extend his contract or leave on a free transfer next summer.

According to reports, the deadline is mid-February. This should give both Real Madrid and Paris Saint Germain plenty of time to make their plans for next summer after the final decision.
