Kylian Mbappe is currently at the center of attention with questions about his future, with PSG showing no signs of stopping amid the Real Madrid transfer speculations. Meanwhile, it looks like the French manager Didier Deschamps has provided media with another huge update regarding the 25-year-old. He spoke about whether the PSG could provide his services for the national team in the Olympics.
At the moment, there are too many questions and speculations about the player’s future. And the pressure of doing well for the nation in one of the most prestigious tournaments will surely not make things easier.

French manager Didier Deschamps was asked about captain Kylian Mbappe’s potential involvement in the 2024 Olympic Games which will be happening in July. The French manager said, “Ask the players, they will all tell you that they want to play both! But maybe that won’t be possible for some.” The French manager also added that he has no issues with the PSG star or any player participating in the Olympics.

In the Olympics, all the participating nations are allowed to include a maximum of three players over the age of 23 in the squad. Hence, this means that senior team stars, including Mbappe, can play for their country. But, the players also have another commitment to the national team earlier. The Euros start from June 18th for France. Hence, playing in both tournaments would potentially provide very little rest to Kylian Mbappe.
It will be interesting what role Thierry Henry , who will be the French coach at the Olympics, will play in helping Mbappe navigate throught that congested fixture period. Meanwhile, the 2018 world cup winner will have to resolve his future with the club.

Kylian Mbappe certainly has the permission to go for the Euros. However, the French forward will need permission from the club to play in the Olympics. This is because the new season would already have kicked off. But, the problem for the 25-year-old is that he has not announced whether he is going to extend his contract with PSG or is going to leave the French giants.
