PSG is currently going through an interesting phase. The side has lost some key players and is on the verge of losing Kylian Mbappe on a free later this year. However, despite the changes, the side has kept its feet on the ground and built momentum during the ongoing season. With Luis Enrique taking charge of the club, PSG has looked like a different side this season. Club ace Kylian Mbappe too believes that the Spaniard is doing a great job despite being criticised by the manager on multiple occasions.
Mbappe put on a great showing last year bagging 52 goals to his name. The player has been Ligue 1’s top scorer so far this season, with eighteen goals to his name. However, some of his performances have not pleased Luis Enrique with the manager claiming that he expects a lot more from the Frenchman.

The French striker has been enjoying his time playing under the Spaniard. With PSG building their project around the player, the Frenchman has enjoyed being the focal point in the attacking third. Despite some rough outings, Mbappe has been Luis Enrique’s ace this season.
Mbappe, in a sitdown interview with Amazon Prime, stated, “That’s all a process. There have been many new players and a new coach with a very precise philosophy. It has been four to five months, and we are starting to understand what is required of us.”
He then added, “Understand his reflex and understand what he wants through his tactics, through his offensive game. I think we are starting to see the beginnings of something that will perhaps take a little more, but when it is completely good, we will roll.”

The club has failed to sign a contract extension with their star Kylian Mbappe, which will see the player walk out as a free agent from the club come June.
