Mbappe is a crucial asset for the Reds and Blues in their pursuit of major trophies this season. The Monaco starlet has already netted eight goals in just seven games. Earlier, the former world champion suffered a minor injury, a sprained ankle, due to a reckless tackle in PSG’s 4-0 triumph against Marseille.

The 24-year-old featured in their last game against Clermont in Ligue 1. However, the Frenchman might be compromised against Newcastle United following his persistent injury issues. L’Equipe reports claimed, “Kylian Mbappe has not been 100% physically for a while according to those around him”. Additionally, Mbappe underwent three weeks without physical preparation in the preseason.

However, PSG needs the winger to be in his peak condition in order to win against the Magpies at St. James Park Stadium. Meanwhile, Newcastle is geared up to pose a formidable challenge to the Parisians with their strategic game plans.
