Kylian Mbappe Aware of Real Madrid’s Low Offer as He Nears Free Agency With PSG: Reports

There have been a lot of speculations when it comes to the future of the French superstar Kylian Mbappe. The PSG star has kept everyone in the dark over his future with the player yet to make any concrete decision. Mbappe’s contract with PSG comes to an end this summer, which will see him walk out as a free agent come June. Real Madrid has been a long-time admirer of the player and is likely to make a move in the coming months. But it seems like Los Blancos are not going to the same cushy contract they did last year. However, according to reports, Mbappe is well aware of the fact and the offer could influence his decision.

PSG has tried their best to get Mbappe to extend his contract with the side. However, the 2018 French World Cup winner has rejected any new negotiations and is likely to walk out of the club as a free agent. However, his destination is still unknown, with multiple big teams across Europe lining up to secure his signatures.

Real Madrid has taken a dent in their financial firepower after spending a massive $100 million to sign Jude Bellingham alongside a few other transfers last summer. While the side is keen on securing a move for the Frenchman, it is unlikely that the side would pay Mbappe the same wages they reportedly offered him last summer. Even Carlo Ancelotti, the Real Madrid boss has chosen to keep his focus on the squad rather than discuss a player they may or may not sign.

While teams across Europe are keenly monitoring the situation, it does not seem that the Frenchman is in a hurry. Mbappe talked about his future with PSG following his latest outing, igniting some hope within the fans.

Mbappe issues a statement on his future

While the world is eager to get a glimpse into Kylian Mbappe’s next step, it seems like the Frenchman is not paying any focus on his potential transfer. Mbappe, following PSG’s Super Cup win, talked with the media stating, “I have not made any decision on my future, no choice. But we have an agreement with president Nasser Al Khelaifi so all parties are protected in this situation.”

He then added, “Focus is on the team now, not on my future. I haven’t made any decision on my future. I didn’t make a choice. Nobody talks about my situation inside the club. It’s not a topic.”
