The differences between North and South Korea are very apparent to the world. While the world is enjoying the FIFA World Cup in Qatar, North Korea somehow found a way to humiliate its southern neighbors. The news came days after the reports of the public execution of college students by North Korean officials who distributed Korean dramas. North Korean state TV aired matches from the World Cup and it was more like a humiliation tactic.
South Korea made history by reaching the round of 16 after shocking everyone by defeating Portugal. Fans had high hopes for the Korean team, but in their first knockout match, they came face to face against Brazil. The Korean team didn’t present any sort of challenge and got beaten 4-1.
