In 2018, Khabib revealed in an interview that Cristiano Ronaldo started following him on social media. The UFC legend could not believe that the soccer icon was following him. However, when he realized this, he immediately messaged him and started their first conversation. This conversation resulted in the Portuguese forward inviting him to the Real Madrid game against Real Sociedad in February. The 38-year-old did not disappoint his guest. He scored a hattrick in the 5-2 win. After the game, the Russian martial artist got a signed Real Madrid shirt and ball from the player. Cristiano Ronaldo Jr also was seen having a conversation with Khabib. The former UFC Champion in return gifted the forward a local blond headpiece of Russian tradition known as a papakha. 

2021:- The comical stare-down between the legends at Old Trafford

In 2021, Cristiano Ronaldo moved to Manchester United. Khabib was then invited to the game against Everton at the Theatre of Dreams. Before the game, Cristiano Ronaldo met him. They both even had a stare-down against each other. In the end, both of them ended up hugging each other and having a laugh. Khabib ended up meeting with many of his teammates and legends. He also met up with legendary manager Sir Alex Ferguson and midfielder Paul Pogba. Conor McGregor during the game shared a photo on social media of him wearing the United jersey. It was looking like he was taking a dig at the club and Ronaldo for inviting his rival to Old Trafford.

Cristiano Ronaldo was on a holiday after the Euro 2016 trophy win with Portugal. He visited Conor McGregor in a gym where the boxer was preparing for his fight against Nate Diaz. The Portuguese star ended up doing a photoshoot with him. However, in an interview, the Irish boxer revealed that a meet-up at a gym ended up with him crashing the birthday party of Jennifer Lopez with the Portuguese star. During their meeting, Conor asked Ronaldo whether he could attend the birthday party of the American pop icon. The 38-year-old attended the party with him and Jennifer Lopez was also very happy with the surprise. The former UFC Champion also revealed in an interview that he ended up dancing with J’Lo at the party.

2023:- The meet-up during the famous Tyson Fury vs Francis Ngannou fight 

Saudi Arabia hosted the fight between Tyson Fury against Francis Ngannou. It was a star-studded event. Conor McGregor was also present. Legendary Man United defender Rio Ferdinand was the first one to greet him. He later accompanied him to meet Cristiano Ronaldo. Rio also posted a photo of him, Ronaldo, McGregor, and Luis Figo on social media. However, this was not their last meet-up of the year.

2023:- An awkward and confusing conversation between the legends 

Both Conor McGregor and Cristiano Ronaldo were also present yesterday at the Day of Reckoning event in Saudi Arabia. When they were sitting with each other, the Irish boxer suddenly started having an animated conversation with the Portuguese looking confused. Many social media users also pointed out that the Al Nassr star looked awkward at the start of the conversation. Nonetheless, Ronaldo shared a photo on social media with him.
