World Cup has just 2 matches left in it; one for the 3rd place and one for the most anticipated trophy. The moment soccer fans have been waiting for the past 4 years is just a couple of days away. Especially, Lionel Messi fans have been waiting for decades for the most prestigious award and the excitement is through the roof. And it won’t be easy as they are facing the reigning champions in the final.
Yesterday, France defeated Morocco and qualified for their second back-to-back FIFA WC finals and they are also aiming to create history. Both teams have matchwinners and players who can create opportunities. All in all, it will be a neck-to-neck match with stars like Kylian Mbappe and Lionel Messi. However, more than yesterday’s result, the soccer community on Twitter was busy trolling Charles Barkley.

France started yesterday’s match with a quick goal in the 5th minute by Theo Hernandez. France maintained their lead throughout the first half and doubled it in the 79th minute when Randal Kolo Muani scored. Both teams had 3 shots on target, but France’s conversion was better. Morocco had 62% ball possession in this game, we saw very similar stats in Argentina vs Croatia where Croatia had significantly higher possession than Argentina but lost the game 3-0.
Charles Barkley mispronounced Kylian Mbappe
While discussing the specifics and stats of the teams before the game of Morocco vs France, Charles Barkley was talking about the strength of the teams. In the conversion of good players from each team, he put the name of Kylian Mbappe, and said, “oh! They got the boy Mbappe over there France. He ain’t no joke.”
While hardly any soccer fan will disagree with Barkley, Mbappe is indeed an integral part of the team. Twitter, find out your way to troll him. Barkley messed up the pronunciation of the name of the French star player. He said, “Ma-bappe”, and the Twitter community trolled him left, right and center. Here are a few reactions:

This is not the first time Charles Barkley got into the crosshairs of the fans. Before the group of 16 matches, he got aggressive while predicting the result and said, “We opened up a can of whoop-a**. I guarantee the Netherlands is in trouble.” After the Netherlands defeated the USA, fans opened fire on him.
