Shakira Had a 5-Word Surprising Response to Major Collaboration With Popular Singer After Success With Gerard Pique Diss Track

The Colombian star is reportedly scheduled to release her upcoming track with Karol G in the coming weeks. They delayed the initial date of release for the collaboration is reportedly due to the uproar Shakira’s recent diss track achieved. In a recent interview, Karol G spoke about her collaboration with the Grammy Award winner and how they bonded with each other while composing their new track.

Karol G and Shakira’s long-awaited collaboration is bound to be meaningful

Karol G confirmed that this would definitely be a ‘good-riddance’ song. The name of the song will reportedly be ‘TGQ’. She recently told NY Times that both of them were hoping to collaborate with each other for the longest time. Year after year, both of them used to send each other’s songs to one another. However, they mutually couldn’t find that level of relevance in those lyrics.

About a month ago, Shakira dropped a diss track against her ex-boyfriend. After Shakira shocked the world with her hard-hitting diss track, Karol G decided to share another song with her. The major theme of that song was ‘letting her anger go’. The Grammy award winner surprisingly related to the song. Shakira exclaimed, “Oh my God, thank you”. She continued, “Those lyrics are perfectly the way I feel right now”.

Both Colombian artists got together to complete writing the song. The Colombian duo was supposed to release the diss track on 2 February, Shakira’s birthday. However, they decided to push the date to the end of the month. The fans also got a glimpse of one of Shakira’s other singles coming up.

A few days ago, a snippet from an unheard track by Shakira and Manuel Turizo surfaced on the internet. However, it will prove to be difficult to create the impact she had with the first original diss track with Bizarrap.

Shakira is not stopping after the Bizarrap collaboration

Just over a month ago, the Latin America singer collaborated with Bizarrap, an Argentine DJ. The 46-year-old took a firm step and tried to expose her ex-boyfriend through the diss track. The fans were in absolute awe of the lyrics of that single. As per Genius, the lyrics translate to, “You’re acting so weird, I don’t even recognize you. I’m worth two 22-year-olds. You traded in a Ferrari for a Twingo. You traded in a Rolex for a Casio”.

Through this song, the Colombian star attempted to fire major shots at Gerard Pique. And she’s definitely not stopping there. The fans cannot wait to hear the pop star’s next two singles. Even Karol G has now revealed that the theme of their song is basically ‘letting go of anger’. The fans are interested in observing how far Shakira can go just to humiliate her ex.
