Recently, Karol G told Nuestro Diario that Shakira always strived for perfection. She shockingly revealed that the Colombian duo used to work for 16 hours at a stretch. She claimed that the 46-year-old was such a person who wanted to perfect every minute detail of the new song.

Apart from this, the Bichota singer once also briefly spoke to the NY Times about the iconic collaboration. She told the news outlet that she had been pals with Shakira for quite a few years now. The Colombian duo used to send their songs to one another. However, the two of them never really felt that connection with most of the lyrics.

Karol G revealed that Shakira was extremely delighted after hearing one of her tracks. The Grammy Award winner burst out of joy and said, “Oh my God, thank you. Those lyrics are perfectly the way I feel right now”. The Colombian duo has also reportedly named the song ‘TGQ’. The theme and idea behind the song were ‘letting her anger go’. Also, a few of Shakira’s last tracks could truly be defined as lyrical masterpieces.

The fans can clearly figure out that the 46-year-old is using her art as a way to vent out all her frustrations. Her latest diss track with Bizarrap has also gotten fruitful results. The official music video on YouTube has garnered over 323 million views in just over a month. Shakira also proudly appeared on the most streamed female artists chart on Valentine’s Day too. The Latin American singer has truly been living one heck of a life in the recent past.
