The legal battles between Cristiano Ronaldo and Juventus have hit a new curveball. The Portuguese sensation had filed a lawsuit for not getting $21.2 million in unpaid wages from Juventus. Notably, the soccer player wanted the Italian club to pay his wages, but things have hit a stalemate. The club revealed they had evidence to put Ronaldo’s demands to rest, as they explained it recently. Hence, a prominent journalist, Xavier Jacobelli spoke about the case of Ronaldo.

He believes there is hardly any chance Ronaldo will win the legal battle owing to the evidence the club will submit. Consequently, the legal disputes between the player and the club have been reversed in favor of the Italian club.

The club paid deferred wages during the COVID-19 pandemic as players agreed to cut down their salaries for the club to run its costs. Juventus stated how all the players of the club who signed a contract for these wages were fully paid and that Ronaldo failed to sign the contract. Hence, getting his wages could be an issue following a no-signature contract between the club and the player. There is no document for Ronaldo to claim the money, as the journalist mentioned those issues.

In a recent podcast, Jacobelli revealed, “The appeal, presented before the arbitration panel by Ronaldo’s lawyers it has little chance of success, but beyond litigation, I believe there is a way to end a relationship, and this way seems disappointing to me to say the least.” Consequently, a perplexing situation arises for Ronaldo, who plays for Al Nassr now. Meanwhile, the club also mentioned that he signed a document stating he had no pending matters with the club when he moved to Manchester United in 2021.
