Consumer insights global leaders, J.D. Power, recently released the results of the 2023 edition of the J.D. Power Awards. In the Telecom, Media & Technology areas, Mint Mobile bagged the prestigious price of “Highest Ranked Wireless Purchase Experience”. This marks the 11th consecutive time the company has received this honor.

Mint Mobile’s official Instagram handle posted a picture of the trophy to celebrate this victory with the caption, “Powerful”. Reynolds shared his support for the victory by leaving a like on the post by Mint Mobile. The Wrexham owner will certainly be pleased to be receiving the award just weeks after Mint’s biggest deal.

Ryan Reynolds, a renowned actor and owner of Wrexham AFC has also made impressive strides in the business sector. In 2019, he took on a 25% stake ownership in Mint Mobile; a mobile phone service provider. Come this March, his venture was bought out by T-Mobile for an estimated $1.3 billion figure – where Reynolds personally received $337.5 million from his share.

Garrulous of this lucrative purchase, this stunt neatly doubled Reynolds’ pre-deal net worth of $150 million – to a good sum of more than $350 million. While no one can argue that Ryan Reynolds is a star in Hollywood, his recent successes prove that he can be a star in the business world as well.
