Jude Bellingham was the star of the show for England tonight. No matter how the player performed during the first half of the contest, it was his goal that kept the Three Lions alive in the Euro 2024. Gareth Southgate’s men were trailing 1-0 against Slovakia in the Round of 16, with the clock running out on the team. However, in a moment of brilliance, Jude Bellingham smashed Marc Guehi’s header into the back of the net with an outrageous bicycle kick.

English skipper, Harry Kane, was left dumbfounded as the English players dog-piled on Jude to celebrate the goal. Jude then turned to the camera and shouted, “Who else?” before he stretched his hands to produce his iconic celebration.

While his goal might have kept England in the competition, fans seem to be divided over his celebration. A section of fans believe Jude Bellingham had every right to pull off what he did, while a section of fans feel the Englishman was not at his best during the contest as they deemed his actions arrogant.

Fans share split reactions over Jude Bellingham’s heroics against Slovakia

People on the internet have a lot of opinions, and that was the case once again following England’s massive win over their opponents in the Round of 16. Fans had starkly contrasting views over Jude Bellingham’s heroics. One fan even claimed that Bellingham is what is wrong with the English team and Gareth Southgate should reprimand his players. While it’s okay to be upset at the team’s performance, outright holding the midfielder seems like a harsh take.

Meanwhile, another fan had a completely different view of the celebration, as they claimed only a world-class player could produce such a moment. Considering how Jude Bellingham has become a clutch player for his club and country, calling him world-class is surely a fair judgment.

Well, not everyone thinks the way Belligham acted was over the top. Saving one’s team in injury time with a jaw-dropping bicycle kick may give them the right to celebrate!
