Jude Bellingham has been the signing of the summer in La Liga. The former Borussia Dortmund man joined Real Madrid as a midfielder with world-class potential. However, it has been his attacking exploits that have caught the eye as Jude is La Liga’s top scorer with 10 goals. While Jude has cemented his spot at Madrid, clubs have turned their attention to his brother Jobe. In fact, as per reports, Premier League clubs are already keeping tabs on the Sunderland sensation. Could a move be potentially on the cards?
Will Jobe Bellingham make the Premier League move?
Jobe Bellingham is having an impressive season and started 16 games this campaign. Much like his brother, Jobe is a midfielder who likes to play in the advanced areas. It seems like his development has already caught the eye of Tottenham Hotspur. As per Football Insider, Tottenham have been keeping an eye on the 18-year-old starlet and even dispatched scouts to monitor his games. Jobe Bellingham was previously at Birmingham before he made the switch to Sunderland. It also seems that Tottenham are not the only suitor for signature as Bundesliga clubs are also interested in the younger Bellingham.

In terms of playing style, Jobe is an attacking-minded midfielder. He stands in the 88th percentile for non-penalty goals compared to other midfielders. Jobe is not a metronomic passer and attempts 33 passes per 90 minutes. For a midfielder, he is a good ball carrier and stands in the 74% percentile for take-ons attempted.
These numbers highlight a similar play style to his superstar brother. However, it remains to be seen whether he can have the impact of Jude, who is taking La Liga by storm.

La Liga President raves about Jude Bellingham
It seems that La Liga president Javier Tebas did not foresee Jude Bellingham’s meteoric rise. His influence extends beyond the pitch as Bellingham has contributed to the popularity of the league. Tebas told the PA news agency, “It’s only been a few months, it’s too soon to know the full extent, but in the viewing levels in the UK Bellingham is having a big impact in our league. We knew he was a great player but we didn’t realise the level he could reach, at Real Madrid, it’s like he’s from a different planet“. Bellingham’s arrival seems to be the boost La Liga was craving after the Messi and Cristiano era.
It looks like Real Madrid has hit the jackpot with Jude Bellingham. Following the departure of Karim Benzema, there were doubts regarding Madrid’s ability to score goals. However, Bellingham has put an end to all doubts with his performance, contributing goals while also adding control to the game. Perhaps, the number 5 jersey at Real Madrid has finally found its true successor.
