Shakira has been elected as the most beautiful woman in the world for 2023 by Spanish People magazine. The Waka-Waka artist was ranked number one in the prestigious ’50 Most Beautiful Women’ list. This feat is much more remarkable as it follows a challenging period in her life. Despite personal difficulties, the Colombian singer and artist has shown unwavering resilience. After receiving the prestigious title, the Colombian artist recently shared a message for her fanbase.

The 3x Grammy winner said, “I’ve been through a period of denial, anger, pain, acceptance, mourning, hope, disappointment, hope again, excitement. So many emotions and feelings that sometimes seem mixed up, but they don’t seem to be able to coexist inside me”, as compiled by Incrivel.

Shakira further adds, “I’ve only managed to unravel them through my songs, to understand myself better. Not to explain or justify myself, just to understand and position myself”. Shakira’s selection as the Most Beautiful Woman of 2023 is not just well-deserved but also a testament to her inner strength and resilience.

But her fight is nowhere near its end. It’s a constant fight that not just happens on the outside but also on the inside. However, Shakira will seemingly not let anybody treat her wrongfully anymore. After Bad Bunny took a jibe at Shakira, the Colombian artist hit back at the artist. 

Bad Bunny shut quiet by Shakira’s remarks

In his recent track ‘Los Pits’ from the album ‘Nobody Knows What’s Going to Happen Tomorrow,’ Bad Bunny didn’t hold back as he aimed a lyrical jab at Shakira. His lyrics directly referenced Shakira and Bizarrap’s earlier diss track. Originally, Shakira’s verse contained a line about women not shedding tears and focusing on paying bills. However, Bad Bunny’s response altered the narrative, putting the spotlight on men shedding tears and handling the bills.

Shakira was quick to fire back as she took to her Instagram to post a screen recording of the modified lyrics. Shakira included a caption, which read, “Let’s bill together then!” To ensure Bad Bunny got the message, Shakira also tagged his official Instagram account in her response.
