Posh Spice has etched her name in the glamour and fashion world. As an astute entrepreneur, she has been running a beauty brand of her name, which also creates some unique perfumes. While introducing her ‘Scent Autobiography,’ the former Spice Girl has revealed one of the stories behind her scents and her memory of it with David Beckham.

Victoria Beckham recalls the special 302 suite in Paris

Recently, Victoria took to Instagram to share her Scent Autobiography with her 32 million followers. She posted a three-minute-long video and wrote a caption saying, “MY SCENT AUTOBIOGRAPHY. CHAPTER 1. Suite 302 is a tribute to mine and David’s love affair with Paris. Every time I smell this fragrance – with notes of black cherry, leather, tobacco – it takes me back. xx VB.”

In the clip, she details how the fragrance ‘Suite 302’ makes her nostalgic. “This really, really takes me back. I’d almost say that this fragrance is a tribute to my and David’s love affair with Paris. In the 90’s, we were off to sneak away in Paris, just the two of us. We would stay at the hotel. I remember the heavy velvet drapes, the dark sexy hems, and how that smelled. It was quite heavy, but it was sexy.”

Victoria revealed that during their stay in Spain, Becks surprisingly took her to London on a private plane. The former Spice Girl narrates how David Beckham planned a special re-wedding, where they again spoke their vows in front of their parents and family. After their re-marriage, the two went to Paris for a ‘Mini-honeymoon.’ There they stayed at Suite 302 of the Ritz Hotel, which eventually became the name of her scent.

“I mean, what an amazing thing to do. I mean, that is some crazy James Bond sh*t that went down on the plane let me tell you that,” she concluded. Indeed, this is quite an unheard, passionate fable of David and Victoria. Interestingly, Beckham once revealed a fascinating tale of how he decided that Victoria would be his wife in his first few glances at her.

David Beckham revealed how he decided to get married to Victoria

Before they tied the knot, David Beckham firmly believed that Victoria was the one for him, even before they formally met. He fondly recalls a late 1996 evening, post-match, when he and his Manchester United teammate, Gary Neville, were watching TV. The Spice Girls’ video came on the screen, and David, struck by Victoria in her catsuit, turned to Neville and confidently declared, “That one there, that’s the girl I’m going to marry.”

Their paths eventually did cross, and the soccer icon managed to get her phone number. However, he also revealed that he almost blew his chance during their first encounter due to his shyness. Nonetheless, their marriage serves as a real-life testament to the kind of love many people aspire to find.
