“It Was Incredible” – Didn’t Charge a Penny to Perform, ‘Humble’ Cristiano Ronaldo’s Favorite Singer Divulges on Performing a Private Concert for CR7 and Georgina Rodriguez

The second season of the show delved deeper into their relationship, with one episode showcasing a surprise organized by Ronaldo at an exclusive party. 

Ronaldo invited his close friends for dinner, accompanied by a performance by his favorite singer, Nininho Vaz Maia. While it seemed like a great night in the series, the singer revealed how he felt after performing for CR7.

Famous singer reveals performing for Cristiano Ronaldo

Ronaldo and Georgina recently invited their friends for a private dinner party. The dinner was joined by the likes of former Portugal and Manchester United teammates Ricardo Quaresma and Diogo Dalot. In order to make the night special, Ronaldo’s favorite singer, Nininho was also invited.

While everyone seemed to enjoy his performance, the Portuguese singer revealed how it felt to perform for the veteran. While speaking to Rodrigo Gomes, “Café da Manhã”, from RFM, he said, “I was invited, yes, to dinner, and to be with friends, with the number 1 of all time, with Cristiano Ronaldo”.

The announcer also revealed he had plans with Nininho, but the singer ditched the plan without giving any explanation. But now the artist revealed he couldn’t make time for Gomes as it was the same night he had to perform for Ronaldo. When asked more about the night, he said, “It was conviviality, it was supernatural, it was incredible.”

Nininho said he wasn’t “waiting at all” for his performance to get featured on Rodriguez’s Netflix series. “They started to put the microphones in front of me, a camera team, but it was natural. They really passed the best,” he added. It seems the Portuguese pop star was more than happy to perform for the Al Nassr man. In fact, he didn’t even charge anything.

Nininho didn’t charge a single penny

In an interview with Holofote, Nininiho revealed something surprising. He said, “I’ll be very honest. I didn’t charge anything for the performance I did for Cristiano Ronaldo at the restaurant in Carcavelos!” This isn’t the first time Ronaldo hasn’t been charged anything by a singer who gave him a private concert. Either way, it was still a great gesture from the Portuguese singer.

Nininho also expressed admiration for the Al-Nassr forward. “People say this and that about him, but he has one of the qualities I most appreciate in people. He is very humble and of a simplicity, as a person. As I value that. I would never charge for the performance I did!”

He also shared his experience of meeting Ronaldo, saying, “It was a very nice dinner! I knew he liked my songs, but I didn’t think it was to the point of being able to sing them all!” He was also able to surprise Rodriguez that the former Madrid man had planned for them.
