The prolific attacker added that the tournament is ‘important‘ for him, considering he is the captain. The French have had only one defeat in their last six meetings with Austria. Hence, Kylian Mbappe and Co. are undoubtedly the favorites tonight. But France might be without a key player tonight.

The midfielder has not been available for club or country after suffering a stress injury against Bayern Munich. Moreover, Tchouameni completed a group session, but Deschamps might want to avoid risking the youngster. The team has a plethora of options in the midfield and some icons can step up. The possible options are Ngolo Kante and Camavinga. Kante has been exceptional for the national team when called upon, however, his performances in the Saudi Pro League haven’t been the best.
