Al Nassr is not making its case as a competitive side for the 2024/24 campaign. They cut the ribbon to their Saudi Pro League campaign with a draw at the hands of Al Raed before a devastating pre-season and recent Saudi Super Cup final upset. However, the journey must continue as now they face Al Feiha in just a few hours, which brings up the question of whether star player Cristiano Ronaldo is playing tonight.
The Portuguese superstar has been quite crucial for the Knights of the Najd, especially in the last two games. While his goal didn’t help much during the 4-1 thrashing against Al Hilal in the final cup, it certainly did in the Al Raed fixture, not long before it was equalized. Hence, in order to keep his scoring streak alive, Cristiano Ronaldo will play tonight against Al Feiha.
The Manchester United icon will look to get his name on the scoresheet as he looks to get on the top scorer chart from the start. Likewise, the pressure to carry the team on its shoulders also remains. Ronaldo is expected to grow his tally just like his official YouTube channel is booming.

Luckily, the team has no injuries or suspensions to contend with. They received a significant boost at the start of the season with the return of Anderson Talisca, who missed most of the 2023/24 season. Talisca made his return in the opening league match, starting alongside star players Ronaldo, Otavio, and Sadio Mane.
Since it’s an away fixture at the Al Majma’ah Sports City, it won’t be an easy face-off for Luis Castro’s side. The previous result keeps them in 10th place in the league table with just a point. This certainly builds up the pressure to clinch their first three points. No excuses shall be there as there is a lot at stake. However, they may expect some unraveling at the seams within their squad before the end of the summer transfer window.
Cristiano Ronaldo’s teammates want to leave Al Nassr!
A project that was started with a lot of expectations seems to have taken the turn for worse. Per reports, Al Ittihad is actively pursuing a deal for Sadio Mané, which isn’t particularly surprising since Al Nassr is open to offloading the 32-year-old winger. The deal structure is still under discussion, with options ranging from a year-long loan to a permanent transfer. Interestingly, Al Ittihad is also targeting Abdulelah Al Amri from Al Nassr, intending to bring both players into their squad.

Al Nassr has agreed to these potential departures, but only if Al Ittihad agrees to cover the full salaries of both players. While Al Ittihad is reportedly willing to cover Al Amri’s full salary, they prefer to pay only a portion of Mané’s. The list of potential departures doesn’t stop there, as Alex Telles, who was convinced by Cristiano Ronaldo to join Al Nassr, is reportedly looking to move on as well.

Although the Brazilian left-back, who arrived from Manchester United last season, has a contract until the summer of 2025, Al Nassr is ready to part ways with the 31-year-old. Luis Castro and his team have reportedly been unimpressed with Telles since he arrived in the Saudi capital and are prepared to bring in a new signing to fill his spot.
