The story of Wrexham gaining promotion after 15 years is nothing short of outstanding. They jumped from the National League to EFL League Two stunningly. The club won their soccer match against Boreham Wood after going a goal down. Top scorer Paul Mullin struck twice to give them a sensational victory. Thus, fans couldn’t contain their excitement as they ran onto the pitch. Several celebrities celebrated the promotion by posting messages on social media platforms. And amongst them was Sir Anthony Hopkins, who gave a fitting tribute to the owner, Ryan Reynolds.

It became symbolic as Rob McElhenney earlier asked Hopkins to be a fan. Hence, it was something to cherish for Ryan as he took to Twitter to respond to the appreciation post. They even exchanged pleasantries after the memorable moment.
