Introducing the family of Walker Zimmerman

Walker Zimmerman was born to his father David and mother Becky on May 19, 1993. Lawrenceville, Georgia, is where the defender was born, where his parents earned daily bread to lead the best life they could. Unfortunately, there aren’t many details available regarding Walker’s parents. However, it is known that David served as a Baptist minister for over 21 years in Fort Worth, Texas. Currently, he is a mentor with Church Resource Ministries. Meanwhile, his mother Becky is a homemaker.

Walker was raised alongside his two sibling brothers, Dawson and Carter. The oldest son is Dawson, who, if you still haven’t figured out by the name, was a former football player (punter at Clemson University.) Today, the 34-year-old offers one-on-one kicking and punting coaching to renowned NFL players including Las Vegas Raiders’ AJ Cole, Arizona Cardinals’ Blake Gillikin, and Tampa Bay Buccaneers’ Jake Camarda.

Meanwhile, the youngest brother Carter too is involved with football. He was in Fort Smith Southside School and presently plays as a quarterback for Harding University Football, which became the 2023 NCAA Division II National Champions.

Only Walker Zimmerman, the middle child, decided to pursue a career in the beautiful game. That certainly turned out to be the best decision. While that’s all about his family, does he have his own family with his significant other?

Meet Zimmerman’s wife and children

Walker Zimmerman is married to Sally Tucker. Both love birds locked eyes during freshman orientation at Furman University in Greenville, South Carolina. It took over a month before a mutual friend introduced them, but they quickly connected and began dating. They were married on New Year’s Eve in 2016. Notably, Sally works with the beauty brand Beauty Counter.

Five years after their marriage, they finally welcomed their first child, son Tucker James, on June 22, 2021, and two years later, their daughter Belle Morris was born on August 9, 2023.

Beyond their professional achievements, Walker and Sally have made a meaningful impact through philanthropy by creating the Walker and Sally Tucker Zimmerman Endowed Scholarship for Men’s Soccer at Furman University.
