It appears that the revered soccer figures in the 2010s decade are gradually progressing towards retirement. Esteemed Uruguayan striker Luis Suarez, has also dropped hints of his possible departure from active play. As per his assertions, Inter Miami might be his final professional soccer destination.

The Uruguayan striker commenced his tenure with the Herons towards the end of the previous year. This transition held more significance than a typical transfer, as it marked a reunion with his former comrades Lionel Messi, Jordi Alba, and Sergio Busquets. Recently on DelSol 99.5 FM Radio’s interview session, the 37-year-old stated he had already made up his mind about retiring while still attached to Inter Miami. “The date hasn’t been set,” he disclosed. The striker further added, “But yes, Inter Miami is the last club of my career. My family already knows that.”

Not much time ago, Luis Suarez expressed delight over enjoying what could likely be perceived as the ‘final stages’ at MLS. In another past interview, he disclosed the difficulties he faced with his knee, making it challenging to even play with children. It appears that his advancing years have overtaken him, precipitating this retirement decision.

Although we are unsure about the exact count of matches left in the Barcelona legend’s professional journey, this fact adds a level of importance to the forthcoming MLS season, as it might potentially mark his final one. However, for El Pistolero, this season presents an even tougher challenge.
