Luis Castro has allowed fans to sigh in relief with Cristiano Ronaldo set to make his return next week. The Al Nassr head coach talked about the Portuguese talisman’s return during an on-field interview, asserting, “Cristiano is in the last period of his return, and within 5 or 6 days he will return.” Cristiano has been absent from Al Nassr’s training sessions after failing to reach his desired fitness levels.

The player reportedly picked up an injury earlier this month, which forced the side to pull out of their tour of China despite traveling to the nation for the tour. Al Nassr even apologized to the Chinese fans after failing to deliver their promises.

The Al Nassr skipper will be eager to make a return against Al Hilal this coming week. The last fixture between the two sides saw Al Hilal make a mockery out of Al Nassr, bagging a comfortable 3-0 win. Cristiano and his men would love nothing more to pay back their rivals on the biggest stage this season.
