Fans and organizers had made special preparations for Cristiano Ronaldo’s Al Nassr for their visit to China. However, instead of seeing their favorite player play, all they got was a postponed tour. When the Knights of Najd departed the country, the organizers gave them a regular bus to take the team to the airport instead of the usual tour bus provided for traveling teams. The social media users also enjoyed the gesture as they trolled Cristiano Ronaldo and his team for not playing in the friendlies and completing the agreement.

Despite the frustrations and the trolling, there is a significant chance of Al Nassr returning to the country. A Saudi journalist recently noticed how they postponed the tour to 30th September on the booking platform. Cristiano Ronaldo has also promised the team will make their way into the country in the future. Hence, the signs look appropriate for a return soon this year.
It will be interesting to see whether Cristiano Ronaldo confirms his presence in September. As far as the present is concerned, it is not the first time there have been concerns for the Saudi giants in China.

Soccer fans in China vented out after the cancellation of the tour
There were expectations that Cristiano Ronaldo would pass the fitness test to appear in the friendlies. However, they chose to cancel the entire tour because the Al Nassr star was not physically fit. Despite the 38-year-old apologizing, hundreds of fans started protesting outside the hotel where the Al Nassr team resided.
The fans were so furious that they refused to leave even after requests from the hotel security. In the end, law enforcement intervened to cool down the situation and avoid damage to hotel property.
